1. Introduction

Welcome to ServiceMarket. This Provider Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of our platform as a service provider. By signing up as a provider, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Please read this Agreement carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you must not use our platform as a provider.

2. Payment Protection & Platform Payments

2.1. Mandatory Platform Payments

All payments must be processed through our platform. Our escrow payment system protects both providers and customers by holding funds securely until service completion.

Benefits of Platform Payments:

  • Secure escrow protection for both parties
  • Dispute resolution and support
  • Guaranteed payment after service completion
  • Protected transaction history and records
  • Fraud prevention and verification

2.2. Off-Platform Payment Policy

Receiving payment outside our platform violates this Agreement and compromises the safety and trust of our marketplace. This includes:

  • Direct bank transfers, cash, or wire transfers outside the platform
  • Payment apps (WhatsApp Pay, Paystack Direct, etc.) not processed through our system
  • Cryptocurrency or other unregulated payment methods
  • Any form of payment circumvention

Consequences:

  • Immediate account suspension pending investigation
  • Permanent ban from the platform for repeated violations
  • Legal action may be taken for breach of contract
  • Loss of all platform benefits and protections

3. Service Standards & Code of Conduct

3.1. Professional Conduct

  • Provide accurate service descriptions and pricing
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Complete services as described and agreed upon
  • Maintain high-quality standards in all work

3.2. Communication

  • Keep customers informed about service progress
  • Respond to messages within 24 hours
  • Be transparent about delays or changes
  • Use professional and respectful language

3.3. Quality Assurance

  • Deliver work that meets or exceeds customer expectations
  • Stand behind your work with appropriate guarantees
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Continuously improve your service quality

4. Dispute Resolution

Our platform provides a fair dispute resolution process. If issues arise:

  • Contact customer support immediately if problems occur
  • Provide evidence (photos, messages, documents) to support your case
  • Work collaboratively with customers to resolve issues
  • Our support team will mediate and make fair decisions
  • All decisions are based on platform policies and evidence

6. Acceptance of Agreement

By using our platform as a provider, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Provider Agreement, our Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy. Violations of this agreement may result in account suspension, termination, or legal action as permitted by law.

This agreement is subject to change, and you will be notified of any significant updates. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated agreement.
